Since it is the last day of Black History month, I am thinking today about who are my favorite Black authors. These would definitely be at the top of the list (although in no particular order):
- Booker T. Washington
- Dr. Martin Luther King
- Dr. John Perkins
- Dr. Tony Evans
- Dr. Kawanza Kunjufu
- Dr. Cornel West
- Dr. George Yancey
- Shelby Steele
- John McWhorter
- Ed Gilbreath

Hi Kevin,
Nice list! I know all of those you have listed except Dr. Kawanza Kunjufu. I could go to Google for more info, but it would be so much better to learn it from you.
BTW, I don't about Shelby Steele, but John McWhorter surely has a doctorate too.
A few other voices I might include would be Dr. John Hope Franklin, Tom Skinner, and Dr. David Daniels and Dr. Gloria Watkins aka belle hooks.
